Building Block Cupcakes, Lollipops and Chocolates! |
- Building blocks mold (K-162)
- Building blocks lollipop mold (K-165)
- Colored chocolates (1 lb. will make approx. 16 to 18 pc.)
- Lollipop sticks (LSW-4550)
- Bags (2X6-POLY)
- Ribbon
- Melt chocolate. We use a microwave. Put 1 lb. of chocolate in a bowl. Microwave on 1/2 power for 30 seconds then stir. It will look like the chocolate is not melted but stir anyway. Keep doing this until chocolate is melted. Candy melts between 98 and 100 degrees. be careful you do not over heat it. You may also use a double boiler, but do not boil the water. Water should be hot but not steaming.
- Pour melted chocolate into molds.
- Tap mold on table to remove air bubbles.
- If it is a lollipop, then place the stick into spot and roll the stick. This will cover the stick with chocolate.
- Place mold in freezer for approximately 10 minutes.
- Turn mold upside down over table to remove pieces.
- Cupcakes - Supplies Needed:
- Color block cupcake papers (415-8076)
- Confetti circles (CON-CIR)
- Disposable decorator bags (AT-460)
- Tip # 1M (402-2110)
- Your favorite cake recipe
- Your favorite buttercream icing recipe
- Building blocks chocolates
- Bake cupcakes in cupcake papers.
- Cut an opening in disposable decorator bag and drop in tip 1M.
- Fill bag with buttercream icing.
- Hold bag straight up and down and start to squeeze icing on cupcake. Work from the outside in.
- Sprinkle a little confetti on top.
- Add building block on top of cupcake.
That's it!! Pretty easy.
