Supplies to make Buttercream frosting
- 1/2 cup shortening or high ratio shortening
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 tablespoons clear vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon clear butter
- 1 drop lemon oil
- 4 tablespoons water
- dash of salt
- 6 cups 10x confectionery sugar
- Cream butter & shortening together.
- Add confectionery sugar 1 cup at a time (mixture will be thick)
- Add all liquid ingredients and stir until blended.
- Scrape sides and bottom of bowl. Beat on medium speed for 5 to 8 minutes.
Now you are ready to decorate!
